路透報導，美國海軍第七艦隊22日證實，美軍伯克級飛彈驅逐艦「拉爾夫．強生號」（USS Ralph Johnson，DDG-114）依據國際法，於22日例行性通過台灣海峽，該艦通過的水道不屬於任何沿岸國家的領海。

美軍第七艦隊強調，「強生號」驅逐艦在台海航行，是根據國際法在公海進行自由航行。
