「台北市最不適合步行！」國外語言學習網站《Preply》近日公布「亞洲最適合步行的城市」調查，在30個入選城市中，台北市排名最後1名。對此，台北市觀光局回應表示，該調查僅使用AI計算步行時間與距離，完全忽視大眾交通運輸工具，根本不具參考意義。
根據《Preply》使用AI規劃每座城市「步行1日遊」行程，檢視哪座城市最好走，邊走邊吃路程長度越短、所需時間越少排名越高。在亞洲30個入選城市中，杜拜表現最強，民眾平均只需花費44分鐘、走3.1公里，第2至第5名依序為柬埔寨金邊、越南胡志明、亞美尼亞埃里溫與新加坡。

反觀台北市，AI規劃內容顯示，民眾平均需花費224分鐘、走上15.6公里才能走訪景點與美食，在亞洲30城中排名最後，是「最不適合步行的亞洲城市」。其次分別是烏茲別克塔什干、印尼雅加達、印度班加羅及日本大阪。
消息傳到「PTT」，鄉民們也開酸「連台北都被認證行人地獄，不用想其他地方」、「走在斑馬線都會被撞死的國家」、「是很爛但我沒想到會這麼爛」、「真真實實的漫步城市，謝謝歷任交通部」。

不過也有人指出，「鬼島交通真的很爛，但這評測標準也太莫名其妙了吧，每個人走路速度差那麼多，熟不熟交通也會影響」、「不過我覺得這份排名滿XX的，第一名杜拜第二名金邊第三名胡志明市，計算方法是由AI排一個一日走路行程，計算景點到用餐地點的距離時間。總之很迷」。

對此結果，台北市觀光局回應表示，該調查出自一個語言學習網站，且僅使用AI規劃行程，未公布選取景點的方式，也完全不考慮使用大眾運輸，這種評比方式對於景點距離較近的城市有優勢，無法真實反映行人環境，不具參考意義。
