新竹縣新豐鄉台15線濱海公路與池府路交叉路口一間萊爾富超商，今天晚間7時許傳出火警，整間超商不到10分鐘竟整個陷入火海，貨架上商品全部著火燃燒，超商店員第一時間逃出沒有受傷，警消仍在釐清起火原因。
新竹縣消防局表示，起火的是新豐鄉池府路上一間鐵皮建築，該建築由民宅及超商組成，消防人員在獲報後立即出動第一大隊、新豐、山崎、工業、豐田及湖口分隊共12車25人前往搶救，但現場超商1樓已經整個起火燃燒。

因現場風勢強勁，消防人員出7水線花了1小時才將火勢撲滅，所幸無人員受傷受困，起火原因還需要由火調人員釐清。不少當地居民都十分詫異超商起火還整個燒毀，因該萊爾富是周邊唯一的超商、超市，不少居民採買都會出入該超商。
