颱風季，前氣象局長鄭明典表示，目前台灣周圍有三個颱風，包括今（13）凌晨兩點生成的颱風「安比」，對流爆發中，還有增強潛勢。
鄭明典指出，第5號颱風「瑪莉亞」減弱為熱帶性低氣壓；第6號颱風「山神」對流受到抑制；第7號颱風「安比」對流爆發中，還有增強潛勢。

且這些熱帶性低氣壓們，對台灣天氣都無直接影響，所在的大低壓區消散的速率比模式預期的稍慢。
中央氣象署預報員劉沛滕表示，「安比」颱風今晨2時生成，對台灣無影響，往東北向日本東南方移動，有可能變中颱；「山神」颱風高低層分離，應該要減弱了；此外，「瑪莉亞」颱風今晨2時減弱為熱帶性低氣壓。
