66歲張姓男子昨深夜在南湖右岸河濱公園騎車，不料騎至長壽抽水站旁（約21.5K處），因不明原因自撞排水圳護欄，掉落超過5公尺深的排水圳，幸好後方騎士驚悚目擊張男墜落，立即報案求助，張男頭部骨折受傷、昏迷，送醫急救。
警方指出，家住內湖區的張男，平時會到河濱公園騎車運動，昨天應是在回家途中，騎車行經長壽抽水站旁（約21.5K處），因不明原因自撞排水圳護欄，掉落排水圳內，身受重傷，現場有2名騎士目睹張男掉落排水圳，報案求救。

警消到場後將張男送往三總急救，張男頭部骨折昏迷，目前在加護病房觀察中。家屬接獲警方通知到場，張男行經平日運動騎車路線，不知為何經過草皮區明知自行車道有彎道，卻直接撞上護欄掉落排水圳。
