「深林小學」民間營隊37名師生，今（25）日清晨因凱米颱風受困高雄市美濃區黃蝶翠谷，高市府獲報後立即展開救援行動。市長陳其邁指示民政局長閻青智前往當地指揮所，與軍方合作展開救援疏散，於晚間7點成功將受困師生平安帶出，並安置於美濃區公所指定地點，化解這起危機。
消防局表示，清晨七點多接獲通報後，救援團隊人員一度因道路淹水，無法進入山區，所幸營隊37人平安集結於安全處所，物資充足。下午雨量暫緩，消防局派遣2車6人，配合軍方於傍晚與受困營隊會合。

民政局長閻青智指出，受困的37人原本因為道路中斷無法下山，直到傍晚雨勢間歇，救援人員才得以進入山區，成功將受困者帶出。晚間七點，救援團隊將眾人帶到山下的「朝元寺」，目前已平安抵達「美濃區老人文康活動中心暨親子館」安置。
市長陳其邁，第一時間指示閻青智局長前往當地指揮所，全程督導救援行動。所幸在各單位通力合作下，37名師生已於今晚平安獲救！
