隨著時代的演變，許多職業與工作都漸漸被科技取代。而民眾的日常習慣也不例外，不少實體書店也不敵網路商城及電子書的影響，紛紛被迫轉型甚至是關門大吉。近期就有網友提到，即便現在的電子書很盛行，她還是喜歡紙本的圖書，因此她好奇「大家會花錢買書嗎？」
一位女網友在網路論壇PPT女孩版上，以「現在還會花錢買書嗎?」為題發文表示，自己從小就很喜歡閱讀、看書，有事沒事都會去書店走走，常常一逛完就買了好幾本書回家，這個習慣一直保留到現在。

但隨著科技的日新月異，這名網友發現，自己身邊的網友都看起了電子書，也都認為電子書比較方便。對此，原PO直呼「還是喜歡手上有書的感覺」，並好奇大家還會花錢買書嗎？
貼文一出，許多人都留下「不會！圖書館就能免費借書了，也有電子書可借」、「要真的喜歡，或需要常翻閱的才會買」、「房間不夠放了，所以改買電子書」等看法。不過，仍然有其他網友提到「看實體書比較不傷眼睛，還能二手轉賣給需要的人」、「會買呀！還是比較喜歡實體的書」等不同意見，掀起兩派意見。
