今天晚上八點左右，一輛轎車疑似違規入侵高雄「岡山到路竹」的平交道，導致一列新自強號386次列車，煞車不及，和轎車發生擦撞。還好沒有人員受傷送醫，但火車上數百名旅客，全部受困車內一個多小時，也讓不少乘客等到不耐。

回家的時間因此延誤75分鐘，事情就發生在，13日晚上八點左右，一輛小客車，疑似違規闖入岡山到路竹的，南方平交道淨空範圍，導致一列EMU3000型新自強號，386次列車煞車不及，在高雄市路竹南平交道，和轎車發生擦撞。
乘客：「這邊很多人都不能下車，幾百個人，沒有人要讓我們換接駁車，把我們困在上面，這根本不是賠償問題，已經一個小時了。」
開始顯得不耐，乘客全部受困車內，警方獲報後也馬上到場，但轎車駕駛當下嚇一跳，馬上倒車卻又撞擊到後方騎士，造成騎士膝蓋受傷還好沒有大礙，火車上也沒有乘客受傷。
對此鐵路警局也表示，如果駕駛人在平交道，不遵守看守人員指示，或是在警鈴已響閃光號誌顯示，或遮斷器放下時，仍不依規定停下強行闖越，那麼就可能挨罰1萬五千元到9萬元罰鍰，並且吊扣駕照一年，闖入原因還得釐清，但火車上乘客因此被波及，恐怕也受到不小驚嚇。
