新北市的敬老愛心卡，7月1號開始跟進台北市，可以扣點搭乘計程車。但是有不少民眾反映，要搭車得先用APP或電話叫車，路邊攔車也要認明有「敬老貼紙」的車輛才能搭，根本是考驗長者。對此新北市社會局表示，多元的叫車方式都和其他縣市相同。

不只可以搭公車坐捷運，敬老卡還可以搭小黃，但想坐敬老愛心計程車，得先打電話叫車，或者使用手機APP，更改付款方式，上車後還得告知駕駛，要使用敬老卡，但是就有不少民眾反映很不方便。
持有敬老卡民眾：「我們也不會去叫，因為老人家嘛，我從來都沒有去用過APP啊，給我們補助那些是不夠的，我們用是不夠的我們沒幾天就用完了。」

除了用手機先叫車外，其實也能路邊攔車，但是必須認明車上要有這張敬老愛心貼紙才能搭，但貼紙並不大張，年紀大的長者要在路上，一眼認出有難度。
持有敬老卡民眾：「不是說外面計程車每個人都可以招，一定要看那個標誌，那你假如不明顯的話我是覺得也不方便。」
新北市社會局解釋，透過多元叫車方式，讓民眾更便利搭乘，其實和其他縣市相同。
新北市議員(民)黃淑君：「這讓長輩在使用上其實非常非常困難，也讓人民不禁懷疑，新北市政府設立這樣的福利，到底是美意還是故意有意刁難？如果可以的話，雙北甚至北北基桃宜，應該共同思考如何改善。」
比一比雙北敬老卡，每個月補助額度都是480點，每趟計程車最高補助65元，簽約業者台北16家車隊，超過一萬3500輛，新北則是11家車隊，總共一萬兩千五百輛車，但使用上不便，對長者是考驗，美意恐怕變了調。
