兩名知情人士今天告訴路透社，美國億萬富豪彭博（Mike Bloomberg）捐贈近2000萬美元（約新台幣6億4700萬元），以助現任總統拜登在11月大選擊敗前總統川普順利連任。
要求不具名的消息人士指出，彭博捐款包含1900萬美元給予支持拜登（Joe Biden）的獨立政治行動委員會「未來前進」（Future Forward, FF PAC），還有超過90萬美元是給「拜登勝利基金」（Biden VictoryFund），這是拜登競選團隊和民主黨全國委員會成立的聯合募款委員會。

拜登和川普（Donald Trump）在全國民調大多不分軒輊。
根據美國全國公共電台（NPR）、美國公共電視網（PBS）及馬瑞斯特輿論研究所（Marist Institute ofPublic Opinion）18日公布的最新民調，拜登與川普在全國登記選民間皆獲49%支持率。
