有台灣記者靠近拍照和錄音遭中國大陸籍人士關切，稱他們已包下全棟，這裡屬於私人財產，要求刪除照片和影片。

舊金山警長史考特（Bill Scott）此前預計，APEC期間會發生許多抗議活動，警方的首要目標是將抗議維持在和平、相互尊重的程度內，任何暴力、損害公物的行為將遭到警方逮捕。
