高雄海軍左營基地昨晚10點多一名28歲洪姓哨兵疑在接哨時槍枝走火，子彈從下巴打入，緊急送醫搶救仍告不治。今早檢方相驗，洪男父母悲痛認屍。
海軍陸戰隊指揮部表示，洪姓上兵昨晚執勤衛哨時不明原因自戕，案發後單位已立即封鎖現場，事發原因由檢警調查中。

海軍陸戰隊表示，目前全案除全力配合檢警調查，釐清案情；並指派高階幹部聯繫家屬，全力協處後續事宜。同袍傷損，海軍陸戰隊指揮部深感遺憾與不捨，另將加強官兵生命教育與心理諮商輔導，建立正確生命認知，避免憾事再生。
