「奧運拳后」林郁婷，週日（11）凌晨為台灣拿下拳擊金牌，寫下歷史，新北市長侯友宜除了將金牌獎金加碼之外，同時將8/12訂為「郁婷日」，安坑輕軌、淡海輕軌免費搭乘一天；新北全市16座國民運動中心游泳池、健身中心及新北市的博物館至8月18日止，為期一週免費。
新北市長侯友宜表示，林郁婷一路走來非常辛苦，她用十五年的血與淚拚出台灣之傲、新北之光的榮耀，這面獎牌堪稱「勇者金牌」；更指出，她先前已拿過亞錦賽、亞運、世錦賽金牌，今天再拿一面奧運金牌，成功完成「金牌大滿貫」，晉升世界拳后，除了原本金牌可獲270萬元獎金，市府再加碼300萬元，總共將發出570萬元。

同時，為了慶祝摘金，侯友宜將今天設為「郁婷日」，安坑輕軌、淡海輕軌免費搭乘一天；全市16座國民運動中心游泳池、健身中心及新北市的博物館至8月18日止，為期一週免費。
除此之外，新北體育局也將奧運補助獎金加碼，國光獎金5％調升至10％，而訓補金由1.8萬調升至2.5萬；賽前每人10萬元鼓勵金，金牌可獲270萬元獎金、銀牌可獲140萬元獎金、銅牌120萬元獎金。
