中信金（2891）搶親來勢洶洶，26日已經向金管會遞件申請投資新光金的股權計畫書，若15個工作日內，金管會審核未反對，即可正式啟動公開收購計畫。針對中信金的敵意併購申請，台新金總經理林維俊認為「應該不會通過」。
台新金（2887）今（27）日舉行第二季線上法說會，投資人針對併購、換股提出諸多問題，有投資人擔憂若是中信金的收購計畫送審通過了，那台新金應該如何因應？總經理林維俊則回應，其實2022年台新金就已經向新光金提出合意併購，但當時沒有得到回覆，所以在2022年11月就提出公開收購方案向金管會討論。

林維俊進一步表示，當時遵循禮貌，都有和金管會報告、溝通，說要提出對新光金敵意併購的條件，而當時的併購條件、架構，和中信金現在提出的架構是一模一樣的，只是金額、數字不同，不過當時金管會對台新金提出的架構有些質疑，認為用股份作為對價，會讓股價波動，因此當時的提案遭到否決。
林維俊表示，如果2年前台新金提出的敵意併購都被拒絕了，但按照同樣的監理標準，中信金也應該不會通過申請才對。
