為促進投資人成交機會，金管會今（4）日預告，自12月2日起，盤中零股交易搓合間隔時間由1分鐘縮短至5秒鐘。金管會表示，縮短搓合時間可促進盤中零股交易的效率，且增加盤中零股流動性，促進更多成交機會。
金管會今（4）日舉行例行記者會，會中預告12月2日將縮短盤中零股搓合時間為5秒，這段期間也讓券商有準備的時間。證期局主秘尚光琪表示，整股和零股交易制度不同，搓合方式也不同，成交價格有落差，為了使交易更精進，才會決議縮短搓合時間。

金管會表示，盤中零股交易制度持續優化，自111年12月19日縮短撮合時間至1分鐘後至112年12月底止，相較於先前搓合時間3分鐘的交易統計，上市櫃盤中零股較整股成交價差縮小幅度達24.39%、19.62%，顯示縮短時間可促進交易效率。
此外，金管會統計，上市櫃零股成交戶數由32萬戶增加至121萬戶、35萬戶增加至229萬戶，成長幅度高達283%、551%，其中又以30歲以下族群成長幅度最大，顯示年輕人投入資本市場比例提高。
