在第八屆全球華文永續報導獎中，臺灣大學的短片「退休教授走入偏鄉 程式設計教育啟蒙善的循環」榮獲學生組影片類(短)首獎。由蔡欣佁和謝采宜製作，這部作品聚焦於偏鄉教育的挑戰與機遇，特別是程式設計教育的缺乏。國立臺北科技大學電子系退休教授鄭群星在退休後，主動與鹿樂平台合作，將程式設計課程引入偏鄉，為當地教育注入新活力。
入圍感言中，團隊表示，透過此次報導機會深入解偏鄉教育議題，聯絡議題所牽涉的各方立場以及為偏鄉教育所付出的努力，並將他們的故事透過影像報導作品分觸及到更多人，最後能有機會與與受訪教授、校長、師生分享入圍的喜悅，是新聞系學生的一大收穫。

評審對作品給予高度讚賞，認為作品一開場的剪輯手法純熟，鏡頭跟隨退休教授的行腳，捕捉到故事主角快步移動，時而低頭看錶的細微，節奏明快，自然動人，記錄城鄉兩端教育工作者勤懇奉獻的身影。文字敘事流暢，訪談鋪陳得宜，畫面結構完整，是一則饒富情懷的好作品。
