昨（4）日半夜，在彰化縣彰化市接到一起恐嚇信，信中指出「害他買不到不二坊的蛋黃酥」，「要帶開山刀、散彈槍」，還說要衝市長林世賢辦公室「餵他吃慶記」。彰化市公所獲報後，不敢懈怠，立即向彰化警方報案，希望能夠找到恐嚇者。

彰化市公所收到一封「民意信箱」，標題寫「帶西瓜刀去隨機砍人抗議」，內容充斥著不雅字眼，說：「彰化市長林世賢害買不到不二坊的蛋黃酥，要直接帶開山刀跟散彈槍衝市長辦公室，餵他吃慶記。」內容相當恐怖，彰化市公所不敢鬆懈，立即通報彰化警方。
彰化市長林世賢表示，強力譴責暴力行為，除請警方加強巡邏維護同仁及洽公民眾安全外，也呼籲民眾若有查覺可疑人士出沒，請儘快聯繫警方。市長也提醒民眾，彰化市好吃的蛋黃酥店家眾多，民眾要注意各店家公告的提前預購日期，才不至向隅，平安歡喜度過中秋佳假。
