美國國家颶風中心（NHC）表示，熱帶風暴黛比（Debby）今天再次登陸美國；幾天前，它侵襲美國東南部，造成至少6人死亡。
法新社報導，國家颶風中心於今天清晨通報，「黛比在南卡羅來納州公牛灣（Bulls Bay）附近登陸」，示警南、北卡羅來納州和西維吉尼亞州部分地區將出現嚴重洪災。

黛比5日以1級颶風的形態，當時持續風速達到每小時130公里，首次登陸於佛羅里達州墨西哥灣沿岸地區（Gulf Coast），隨後減弱為熱帶風暴。
強大危險的颶風貝羅（Beryl）7月肆虐加勒比地區，導致至少18人死亡，隨後襲擊美國德州和路易斯安那州。
科學家表示，氣候變遷很可能在風暴快速增強過程中扮演重要角色，因為風暴能從溫暖的海洋汲取更多能量。
