基本工資審議委員會將在九月召開，勞動部表示，儘管日期與調幅還未定，但整體會以「調漲」的方向進行討論；目前預計要協商21位勞資政學專家出席時間，會議中將會參採今年CPI指數、以及原物料價格等等，考量各方意見做出最終決定。
勞動部勞動條件及就業平等司司長黃維琛表示，今年的基本工資審議委員會日期基本定在9月初，並且安排21位勞資政學專家，共同討論，再決定開會時間以及調幅；基本確定調升的方向，不過仍要參採相關經濟數據、勞資與委員們的相關意見，「在和諧有共識的情況下，商量出最終的調幅」。

去年9/8召開基本工資審議委員會第38次會議，決議自113年1月1日起，每月基本工資由26,400元調整至27,470元，調升1,070元，調幅約為4.05％；每小時基本工資則比照每月基本工資之調幅，由176元調整至183元，調升7元，調幅約4%左右，前任總統蔡英文連續八年調漲基本薪資。勞動部表示，今年預計也將以「調升」方向為主。
