國3北上115K竹南路段內線車道今天上午10點多發生一起轎車追撞緩撞車事故，造成轎車駕駛及乘客共3人受傷送醫，撞擊瞬間，現場因散落物噴飛另波及行駛外線車道的1輛大貨車，肇事原因及責任歸屬由國道警方調查中。
據了解，今天上午10點40分左右，該路段內線車道有移動清掃作業，肇事轎車疑未注意前方路況，高速追撞清掃作業後方警戒的緩撞車，猛烈撞擊後，肇事轎車偏移打橫占據在中線車道上，車體部分散落碎片擊中外線1輛1輛大貨車，遭波及1輛大貨車則斜停在外線及路肩車道，造成全線中斷，後方車流回堵嚴重。

國道警方表示，肇事轎車駕駛及乘客共3人受輕傷被送往頭份為恭醫院救治，目前事故已排除恢復通車，確切肇事原因及責任歸屬還要調查釐清。
