國道4號26.7K東向潭子路段，49歲蔡姓男子開小客車往74線匝道時，車輛不明原因起火，警消獲報出動5車12人趕往灌救，整輛車燒光，無人員受困受傷，起火原因仍待查。
今天下午3點48分，國道4號潭子系統有汽車突然起火燃燒，火勢猛烈，潭子及頭家厝等分隊出動，緊急灌救，4點2分撲滅，現場4點40分排除。
