台南市消防局下午1時33分據報，安平區慶平路旁台南運河有人落水，消防人員抵達現場後，發現溺者載浮載沉，經搶救上岸後，該名年約40歲女子意識模糊，但仍摸得到橈動脈，由救護車送往郭綜合醫院急救當中。
消防局據報運河水面上有人，調派2車4人，趕往現場救溺，經消防人員搶救上岸，將女子後送醫院急救。至於女子落水原因，正由台南市警四分局通知家屬到場，進一步調查當中。
