台中市西屯區1間輔具義肢公司今傳出有人猝死，警方獲報調查發現，死者是41歲劉姓男子曾因糖尿病截肢，他近期到該公司準備安裝義肢，因入住中心等待測量、訂製，今上午8點多卻被中心人員發現趴臥在房間地上，消防趕到場時已明顯死亡，沒有送醫。警方已到場採驗鑑識並報請檢方相驗釐清確切死因。
