今（2）日舉行代理部長與新交通部長交接典禮，陳世凱於典禮結束後接受聯訪，針對上任首要任務，他透露就是賴總統的台灣希望工程，所謂的人本交通、便捷台灣方向努力，是首要要為人民做的事情，當然最近大家關心的觀光問題，也是交通部重要業務，未來也會用很大力氣來努力台灣觀光的發展與推動。
不過訪問進行到一半，突然遭一名男子打斷，他抱怨「派駐勞工在中華郵政公司全國設立多少人，為何依照規定一毛錢的員工獎金都不給」，接著不斷大聲嚷嚷，喊話陳世凱心中也要有勞工，過程中陳世凱一度尷尬表示「現在是記者會」，但男子仍自顧自繼續說話，最後員工將他帶離，而陳世凱則幽默補充「我心裡一定有勞工，因為我自己也是勞保，跟大家也一樣。」
